May be related to Danish settler Anders Christian CLAUSEN (b. 19 Apr 1826, Düppel (Dybbøl), Sønderborg, Denmark; d. 09 Mar 1902, his residence, Foxton Line, Palmerston North, Manawatu, New Zealand). Anders m. Abild Kjestine THIELE.

Alternatively, may be descendant of Anders CLAUSEN's sister, Magdalene CLAUSEN, and her husband, Christian ANDERSEN.

It is believed that this may be a branch of the family that emigrated to the United States of America.

Norsewood connection: Anders CLAUSEN's nephew (son of Christian ANDERSEN and Magdalena CLAUSEN), Christian Leonhard (Leonhard) ANDERSEN, settled at Norsewood.
